Audi Q5 Turbos in Our Range
Diesel units make up most of this list, covering the 2.0 TDI and the 3.0 TDI V6. The Petrol tab holds the 2.0 TFSI units, and the SQ5 turbos sit under All.
Newer Q5s from 2017 onwards are often supplied to order, so contact us if yours is not shown. Our main Audi turbo page lists the other models in the range.

Audi Q5 Turbo Replacement Cost
An Audi Q5 turbo replacement usually lands in the £200 to £1,200 bracket, with a few units costing more.
On a car of the Q5’s age and value, a reconditioned turbo is usually the better buy. It is cheaper than new, made to an identical standard and backed by the same warranty.
Choosing Your Audi Q5 Turbo
All four options go through identical testing. Here is who each one tends to suit.
Reconditioned Exchange
A good match for high-mileage Q5 diesels, with your old unit returned to us in exchange.
Remanufactured
New internal parts throughout, ideal for a Q5 you expect to keep well past 100,000 miles.
New
An aftermarket turbo out of the box, with no exchange needed.
New OEM
The original part number from the original maker, worth considering on an SQ5.
If you want to compare costs, ask for prices on two or three types of replacement turbo in one quote.

Your Audi Q5 Turbo in Four Steps
Why Q5 Owners Rely on Essex Turbos
The 3.0 TDI V6 in the Q5 uses a large Garrett variable-geometry turbo that runs hot on long, heavy journeys. We rebuild these alongside the smaller BorgWarner turbos on the four-cylinder diesels, and every unit we send out has been balanced and tested.

Questions About Your Audi Q5 Turbo?
Our team can work out which turbo your Q5 takes from the registration and tell you what is in stock. Many of the same engines appear in our Audi A4 turbo and Audi Q7 turbo listings, and you can see every model on our Audi turbo page.
Audi Q5 Turbo Common Questions
Prices start at about £200. Give us your registration and the team can confirm the exact figure for your engine.
The diesel SQ5 from 2013 uses a 3.0 TDI with twin turbos, and we list units for it. The later petrol SQ5 uses a single turbo on its 3.0 TFSI V6.
A turbo that cannot hold boost is a common cause, often from a split intercooler hose, a sticking actuator or worn bearings. A boost test tells you if the turbo itself is at fault.
Many do, as the two cars share the 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI engines. Check the turbo code on the plate rather than the model name before you order.
